One thing about seo is not about how many links you have, but the quality of them yes the quantity doesn’t hurt, and helps, but there are important factors to remember as an seo, I got a keyword that has made it to the 8th page on Google with then 2 months, and this keyword is very competitive, and digital point is saying its getting around 4-12k searches a day.

Granted now it is on the 8th page, but it is shooting up everyday in the serps due to a quality link, now I am getting all kinds of links that are helping because of the quality ones that I had, and even the lower end links are giving me more credibility with the search engines then what they would of before beucase of the “quality links”, now my site sets in a good area.

Now I will explain how I did this, and what worked for me as an seo, just remember its not the quantity of links, but its the quality, get quality links along with lower end directories, now the lower end directories will help specially if you get listed in high end websites, or get high quality links, and it won’t take so many of the lower end directories to boost you up because Google will value these lower end directories more because you have a higher end link.

What I’m getting to here is that you can actually have 1 link that will out power 100,000 links, and yes this is very true saying that the website linked to you don’t have hardly any outbound links, I would have to say less links with good value are better then a bunch of lower quality links

Just remember not to get confused if you see someone that has 50k links, and you only have 5k links cause if you get good enough links, it will out power then 50k links easily, and another thing is to remember typically if a website is ranking in the search engines, and has a lot of value with them, then its a great link to have, it puts your website in a perspective to have credibility with the search engines.

One thing I am focusing on now is link baits, which I have been very successful at, but I haven’t done to many on this site typical due for many reasons, but now that I have some great rankings with multiple keywords I will focus on link baits to gain more links(natural linking is the best, and relevant).

I wrote this just because I think its important to tell other people what I have learned watching the search engines, and studying them for 17 hours straight at times, and waking up in the middle of the night watching Google re index my site, and serps shooting up.

Link baiting is a very good strategy for seos, and website developer of course, when we link bait we gain several links at once, and basically it creates a viral market for our website, and as an seo we know links are great, and I will go over some ways of how to obtain multiple links at once when using this technique to boost your links, get higher search engine rankings, and more visits.

Hey guys I will write in depth a little bit more in detail about this tool, and eventually do review on it, I haven’t had much of a chance to check it out yet, but I will be using this tool over the next month or so, then write a review about it, it plugs into Firefox.

From what I see I like this tool so far it shows the keyword density on pages, page rank at the bottom, alexa rank, and more. It is way different then the seo tool thats provided by Aaron wall at seobook which granted I still like the seo tool for Firefox by Aaron Wall better, but this new ones got some different features, so give it a try you can download the plug in at.

I have decided to interview Aaron wall for many reasons, but Aaron seems to be a pretty cool guy which I have had several discussions with him, I would have to say he knows what he wants out of life, and is heading in the right direction.

There are a lot of benefits of submitting articles when it comes to search engine optimization, or promoting a website and then again theres lots of important factors too when submitting articles, when you submit your article to sites always make sure you pick the more popular higher outlooked websites like ezine articles, webpronews, and the other popular ones.

Another benefit about submitting articles is that you can catch links from it, and if you write a good enough article, and have it linked to a great website, and keep promoting these techniques your bound to get links from it sooner or later.

I would always use LSI(Latent Semantic Linking / Indexing) techniques when plugging links into articles, and make sure you mix your anchor text, put about 1-3 links in each article depending on what you think is appropriate, but keep practicing these techniques, and your bound to get better, so is article writing a great deal of power to seo, I would say yes!

It has been known for google to put more weight on lsi indexs, and back links. LSI algorithim through Google checks the topic of a page, and checks to see what words are more relevant to one and another, this is good way of writing articles is to use many relevant words as an lsi effect, it will bring your main keywords up in density, and if done properly higher serps with blogs, articles, and more weight towards your keywords in anchor text.

Another thing is when using lsi techniques as an seo, try it in your back links too, and use relevant keywords in your anchor text, the lsi algo through Google will put more weight to your keywords, and give you more credibility, if you would like to find out some lsi words, or relevant words for stemming a link, or page.

Go to Google, and type in ~seo, now all highlighted or bold words you see are semantically relevant, and you can use these as an LSI technique, which Google has been known to weight keywords more, and pages when using this technique, plus it looks more natural then stuffing keywords of course.

I have heard many people say not to buy links, and it violates googles guide lines well I would have to disagree with this one well I’m totally for buying them if there good pr. I think buying links, or getting them naturally is completely fine of course, I mean what do we do when we pay to get into directories basically were buying text links.

One thing to always look for when buying links is where its coming from, pr level, and many other aspects just don’t go out buying a link because its a link, I mean if its a lower quality link don’t pay a hole lot for it, but honestly me and my self opinion I won’t buy links that much, inless I think there is going to be a great return in buying them.

I would suggest getting listed in higher end quality directories first, and to stay a way from monthly charges because paying for monthly charged links is not worth it at all, in less you can profit from it pretty large, I would just much rather buy a bunch of perma links which could easily be obtained, and stay there, and build up over time, but then again I guess a pr9 link would be nice to have, but quite expensive if you get a bunch of them.

You know i was talking with John Scott(owner of v7n) today on the phone, and he really got me thinking a lot about conversions, and traffic. Which granted I’ve always had it in mind, but after speaking with him I’d have to say made me think a little bit more different, but more confident about what was being said.

One thing between a legit seo, and a non legit seo is that a legit seo will turn traffic into conversions, and not try to rank with out conversions, you could have 20k hits a day, but if you don’t get the conversions, and sales it usless this don’t make you a good seo.

Some things to improve your conversion rates would be too check your percentage of sales agaist your traffic, then see what you have to do to improve them sales to a higher rating along with your traffic, lets say your getting 10k hits a day, but only selling 100 widgets a day, now that wouldn’t be so quite great.

Now if were getting 10k hits a day, and selling 7k widgets a day against 100 widgets a day that is a great conversion rate, remember seo is not only about ranking, you have to be able to market your product, so you can create great conversion rates.
