Our experience with Dewitts Media has been excellent and we highly recommend them. Just after a few months of consulting work with Dewitt Media we began to rise in search engine placement and our traffic grew exponentially. Dewitts Media really does know the secrets of the SEO industry and we will continue to confide in their expertise every step of the way to number 1, which is not far, we are currently number 4 using keyword "printing" on Google.

Index Times and Search Engines

Monday, August 27th, 2007

Index times varies from search engine to search engine. Most certainly Google is the fastest. From my experience Google can spider the web faster then any other search engine. Then Ive notice Yahoo is extremely slower, I have competitive keywords on the front page of Google that have not even hit Yahoo yet which there algorithms are a little different, but for the most part they are the same. So if your wondering why your not ranking on Yahoo, or its coming up slower and Google seems to have a good placement just give it some time, put it this way Yahoo is probably 6-8 months behind everything Google does if that give you any idea of how slow it is.

Just keep building links into the site and eventually it will get more trust rank, page rank, and higher rankings. Keep in mind MSN is even slower, but the good thing is when you get leveled out on all these search engines it will pay off big time in the future patience is the key. If you have patience with search engines and building links then you will make it. Thats another reason seo consultants and link builders make as much as attorneys if not more because the ones that have established there time know there trades and its a very time consuming and anything in life thats worth having will not come right off the bat.

Site Wide Links do they help?

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

Site wide links are not beneficial like they use to be. Years ago you use to be able to get a site wide link and manipulate the rankings around a lot more then what you could now. Today though a site wide is just a site wide, so yes 1 way unique links are much better. Sometimes you might see a website that says it has over 200k plus inbound links, or someone might tell you that don’t let them fool you.

Generally in this case the search engines are reading every single link, thats why sometimes you can see a link with 200 links vs 2000 links, but the site with 200 links ranks better. The reason for this being is because the website with 200 links are unique there coming from different domains, and the website with 2000 links are preferably site wide links. This can be confusing in the beginning stages of SEO.

Google Blog sphere search is beneficial for links

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

Google Blog Search is very beneficial for links, or I should say finding them anyways which it can be time consuming this is just yet another technique to use. If you are looking to send track backs to tons of blogs that are related to you then you can start a search on Google Blog Search. The good thing is about the blog search that google offers is that it will only return higher page rank pages well generally depends on if its a long tail search or a competitive search.

Learning From Others

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

You know once you get good at what yo do, you can just kind of tell whos moving into a positive direction, or the people that are watching you are probably watching and studying every one else. When these type of people are watching you and you catch them doing the same thing your doing right after they see what your doing, keep an eye on these people.

Learning SEO

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

Learning SEO is quite simple, but very time consuming. When I first started out I really had no idea what I was doing, I just knew I was a good marketer and had a lot of business sense. The thing is being successful at link building, or seo in general takes a lot of practice and won’t happen over night. Once you get good though you will learn what it takes to make things happen quicker I should say, and speed up the process.

He told shoemoney he better pay him 5k or he will remove it. Thats just crazy.

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

Undetectable links are a big debate in the SEO community today, and I’m starting to wonder if I should move into full time social media marketing, and forget the whole ore deal with getting my clients to buy links. I would truly have to agree with Rand on his post Paid Links are Truly Undetectable. Let me give you some details on what could be undetectable links.

When to monetize a website with ads

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

Monetizing a website is great for extra money, and actually one of my buddies Bob Mutch which is the owner of SEO Company makes some pretty good flow through his monetization. Which I won’t discuss that cause he probably wouldn’t appreciate that. Anyways monetizing a website can be great, but there is several things you *must* realize before your monetize it, and there is several factors that take play when monetizing a website.
