Perception is Reality
Perception is reality, do you agree? Take an example someone comes to your house its messy, your dirty, and don’t shower. Whats there perception going to be? A similar case would be your weblog. When someone comes to your blog you want to make sure the design is unique, and clean. Make sure everything is well organized on your website this is a major issue that I see all the time. A lot of weblogs are not organized they have stuff scattered around everywhere, they have pay per post badges every where, and etc. Try to eliminate this stuff, and just have good hookable quality content.
Quite honestly its always bad to monetize your weblog in the beginning stages and if your not getting at least around 2k uniques a day don’t then *don’t* monetize it at all. The thing is with pay per post and things to that nature some people actually leave because they feel that your not a true blogger, your just in it for the money which there is nothing wrong with that, but you must be able to provide quality content and leave the ads alone. Once your weblog gets more established and trustful it might be ok to put certain badges on your site and etc, but I highly would not recommended it if your wanting to advertise I would put ads you charge monthly or adsense for many reasons your practically saying hey I’m selling links, so that gives Google the incentive to take your page rank, or outbound linking power.
When you your building a website or blog focus on that content that no one else has, focus on that design no one has, and focus on anything that no one has. Make your self stick out in a good way. A lot of blogger and web developers want to make money online, but they just want to look at the real picture to be honest which I’m not trying to be an ass (excuse my language), but what a lot of people don’t understand is that it takes a lot of hard work, and uniqueness. Give this some though and if you have questions I’ll feel free to answer them, thanks ![]()
