Sending Trackbacks through blogs
Sending track backs through blogs can be very beneficial, why? You can gain page rank through them. Which granted not every blog will send page rank because of the no follow tag, but believe it or not there is a lot of blogs that don’t have that tag inserted into the page. Just imagine all the track back you can send after so long, and the juice you can get from them.
If you are a person that is worried about losing visitors cause there going to other websites I wouldn’t worry about that to much in the beginning stages. If this is the case then you can just build page rank up to you blog and create some quality hookable posts that will hook your users, only reason I’m recommended sending track backs is because it can increase the pr on your website, and increase the community.
Another tip would be when you sending trackbacks always make sure your brand name is in the title, for example look at our title on this post. Now do you see how it says DeWitt’s Media, not only will people see this and connect with the name, but they will see it on search engines to. When people see and connect with your brand name more often they feel more comfortable with it because its something there famaliar with, and thats the idea.
Depends though some people don’t really like to link out to much, and they focus more on there blog brand. Which there is nothing wrong with that, but then again some publishers love to link out to every one. Just like I stated early if you are someone that is focus mainly your blog and not linking out too many people and want to keep peoples attention strictly at your weblog then build up quality posts and get famaliar with social networks and build page rank into your weblog so the post will show up on the search engines and possibly get them hooked from there by subscribing to you rss feed.

Thanks for the great info. But for sending trackbacks, we have to find relevant blogs and put a link to their posts right? Then they appear as comment? Help appreciated please

Mayank: Yes, of course relevant links to the post this is a excellent way of getting links such as pr3,4,5 links from good quality posts which granted a lot of blogs have a nofollow tag, but then there is a lot that don’t have no follow tag just keep linking out :).
So yup put a link in your post from there post and it will send a trackback, as long as it accepts trackback. which a big majority of weblogs do.
