Increasing rss subscribers can be difficult task, but over time can be done quite well, and easily. I was setting here thinking about rss subscribers and actually browsing through the web, and looking at some other things, and I figured bingo this is the post I’ll make.
- RSS Feed Button, make sure your RSS feed stands out, if it was me I would have a custom designed button made, with unique colors that will catch the human eye. Your subscribers could increase dramatically by using a bigger, and more colorful button.
- Convey people with things whether its free give aways, contents or etc. Just something to hook them in, and then after you hook them in start using viral content as a lead for links.
- Educate your readers with quality content, this is a technique to get them to subscribe. For instance if you are a company, and you think your company can offer some vital educational information on the web, go for it.
- Forums, well this can be another technique by networking, and meeting others on the social part of the web, just start helping people and if they like you and you make friends give me your feed url and tell them to subscribe.
- Ad campaign, I don’t know if this one works, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t I have been told publisher will run adwords campaign to get subscribers to there blog, make a great landing page and have quality content, and get them hooked!
Mainly when getting rss subscribers it based upon quality content, quality marketing, and networking with friends. Sometimes the hard part can be getting the weblog going, but once you got it going, your mackin and lackin if you get my drift, cause typically when you have the blog established, and pumping people will start linking to your post and other will see it and these post will show up more accurately in the search engines.
