Our experience with Dewitts Media has been excellent and we highly recommend them. Dewitts Media really does know the secrets of the SEO industry and we will continue to confide in their expertise every step of the way to number 1, which is not far, we are currently number 4 using keyword "printing" on Google.

Why I started a Blog For

You know I have had a blog installed on the website for awhile now, but really never focused on promoting it like I have been in the last few months and greatly my rss feed has shot up luckily. I figured if I can gain some of the most competitive keyword rankings on the web why can’t I get my blog going, and plus I want a more community driven website. Trying to move it towards that way anyways. Take a look at these blogs below this is another reason why I focused on promoting the blog more heavily. I have seen these blogs below grow pretty fast, but they have focused on nothing, but there blog.

  • John Chow
John’s blog did not even take off until this pass year, he registered the domain in 2000. If you look at the history of John Chow which this will take you back to 2003 his website was pretty simple nothing fancy by any means like it is now. He put a blog on there around 2003, and it was not even popular. I’ve known about johns blog before he even blew up, I found his blog through someone of the name of Tyler Cruz about a year ago, but quite honestly what I think happen is that his domain was very old dated back to 2000 (well had a good age with Google anyways), so he started writing quality content and getting traffic from Google then what happen was his rss feed started going up then digg came in. When you have a domain dated back from 2000 your bound to get some good traffic, or I should say better traffic then what you would with a new domain. Domains like that are pretty valuable, but for the best part hes doing great now!
  • BlogStorm
Patrick Altoft, I don’t quite know him to well, but I know his RSS feed is starting to move in a positive direction. Which this is not why I started a blog, but he is doing quite well. Speaking he just registered his blog and hes up to 1,000 subscribers which he hit Digg front page to so I’m sure that helped and a few other things.
  • Tyler Cruz
Tyler Cruz, well his blog has been out for awhile which Tyler has other incomes that he brings in through the web, but I think hes really started to focus on his blog a lot more cause hes been posting daily, and I notice every once and awhile when I check back hes talking about his RSS feed, so he seems like hes wanting to move it into a positive direction with his blog. I think he decided to do this after he seen John chows blog speaking they know each others.
  • Search Engine Journal
Loren Baker, Well I know Loren and have talked to him on the phone several occasions he seems to be a pretty cool person from what I know. I read Loren’s blog every day and I’m currently subscribed to it. I actually enjoy reading his blog well when I do read it sometimes I just scan through there to see what hes talking about. Loren decided to start his blog because he was tired of working for people well I think thats what he was saying on the phone one day. His blog has grown pretty big, and I’m quite surprised that he don’t have more subscribers then what he does. Mainly his blog just took off by writing great content and posting daily. Only post I really read on his blog are the ones that he post, and etc.
  • Ask the SEO Guru
Quite honestly I’m not to sure about this guy. I know hes an old time SEO from what Aaron Wall, and Jim Boykin was stating awhile back. I’m quite surprised I never heard of him, but I think his blog is going to take off pretty fast since his name is out there pretty well. The thing is I notice he don’t ever make any post on his weblog and I’m subscribed to it just to check him out.

There is plenty of blogs out there that have grown with then a short amount of time, but the main reason I decided to promote my blog more is because of the whole ore deal with community driven websites, I mean think of it. Its web 2.0 time. Blogs are the thing now days. Community driven websites rock because you can keep them portable, and have fun with them :).
