Link Baits with controversy!

What is a link bait, its where you gather 1000’s of links at at time, but let me get into this a little bit deeper. The thing about link baits of course is that it is excellent for search engine rankings, the more links you get the higher you rank. Depending on what page the links are pointing to, but then again I believe it typically levels out through out the whole website one way or another as long as your website structure is laid out (like page rank, and the inbound links to that page).

Link baiting in seo is a way to capture relevant links ,just like certain bait will catch certain fish. Well when you bait with articles, blogs, or anything to that nature most of the time your going to catch relevant links if a user finds it interesting any how.

For example lets say you find this article very interesting, and it caught you attention cause you a seo type person, well what would you do with it? Ask your self that, a lot of people would bookmark it, or possible even link to it, or spread the link around, and this can create a viral market effect too.
