How to improve your sales techniques.

Well just a minute ago I had a guy call me from india wanting to know if we would outsource our work to them, which i was stating in the last post I made that we was looking for graphics designer, but preferable in America, and someone thats stable.

Anyways, lets get to the point! The guy calls me, and goes on about how much they charge and everything to that nature well this guy was pretty well spoken in English, so i was starting to like him. Its always hard to communicate with foreign countries when the individual can not speak English, lack of US education.(see you later).

Well the thing was this guy was pretty cool, and hip with his game for being a India and better yet was speaking very cleary, and great sales skills he would call you by your first name, and sound more like your friend, then your cheesy sales men. Well the thing is where he went wrong with his sales in general or me was he just wouldn’t take the answer I’ll contact you when I need you.

I tried telling him before we hung up that I would contact him if I needed anything then he kept giong on, and on. That right there was telling me he was really desperate for some work, and was not on the up and up like he says he was, or he just was wanting some cash, either way thats fine, but when you tell someone its time to go, and they keep going on and won’t let you hang up, that can really make people mad.

Figured i write this post up to give my readers a “ideal” of sales, and how to interact with your consumers the best thing to do is hold there hand, and be there friend, not someone thats going to try to pull everything from you, and not let you go and keep going on about non sense.
