Recently John Scott did a test on free directories, and paid directories. I’m waiting on his response right now of where the websites were submitted to against the paid directories which I’m just curious. The fact though is that submitting to paid directories are better then free directories speaking its a sponsored listing.

Another thing is that I notice there was a lot of confusion going on in the forum topic from people 2nd degreeing John which I probably wouldn’t do this in his forums. Quite Honestly I think what john is trying to state in his forums, and where people are getting confused at is free directories are not bad, but hes suggest to get some authority links first hand.
