Trust Rank Algorithm and Building
The trust rank algorithm is a linking analysis that Google uses and many other search engines, but majority of the time its more well known in Google. Quite honestly Yahoo, MSN, and etc are on a Google bases system to, I personally don’t think Yahoo or any other search engines are as fast as what Google is such as updating back links, re-dinexing, and etc. Anyways lets get back to the trust rank basically the trust rank is the vital factor of how important a website is, its almost similar to page rank in a way, but a little different.
For example your domain age, the longer your domain the better your rankings will be. When the search engines see your domain age and they see its very well established and old. It has way more value I’ve seen domains back in 1996 with only 300 links and they was out ranking the big boys. Actually one of my clients was ranking for very competitive keywords and had hardly any links, but yet he was the largest reseller for Hallmark and he was ranking higher then the actual hallmark website now think of that and the Hallmark website had tons of more credible links them his,but was they on the web at early as he was? Nope.
This comes to tell you just how important domain age is, and trust rank. There is several way to building trust into your site of course, or you can just buy an old domain thats fits your niche and use it. Take a look at some of the tips I offers on building domain trust, and etc.
- Obtain Links from old web directories, this should be pretty effective it sure can’t hurt.
- Find websites where your link will set for ages to come. When links age they get better, they start passing more value to your website.
- Find links from old credible relevant websites like website that are 1996 and etc. When you get links from sites like this it passed some great trust to you.
These our just a few factors involved, but quite honestly the older your domain gets the better. Old domains in Google are like gold. Don’t take me wrong you can build up a credible website fast, but old sites always rank higher unless you give your website the extra push to over take theres. If your someone thinking about getting a new domain, or registering another domain try to buy an old domain that is already established just make sure its relevant your niche.
