Google Serps Have Changed to Unrelevant Results

You know today I typed in website design at Google, and I notice they have had some odd changes. I seen sites a few sites jump right up to the top 10 that was never even there, but then there is this other site that has nothing to even do with website design I’m thinking maybe it was an algo leak or something because I’ve seen this happen before which was awhile back, and it eventually this website disappeared, but if you take a look at the screen shot below.

Now if you look at the ones highlighted in red these are ones that just come out of no where. I’m thinking 1. Either Google addressed something differently, which could of happened, or 2. these websites built links so fast using the same anchor text that it placed them up there pretty fast. I think this was the case because I have never seen these websites around the top results and the website I was actually referring to that was not relevant is not placed in the search results no more. It was there earlier today, so it must of got filtered out it or possibly even penalized.

The website was related to motels, and I was thinking why is a website that has something to due with motels ranking for website design. These sites might be gone tomorrow, I’ll check and see if they are removed from the index. Were actually on the 2nd page for website design we was number 3, but we had to do a 301 redirect which was a night mare because we loss a lot of traffic and rankings, but everything is coming back to normal.
