SEO Copy Writing / SEO Onsite Optimization

SEO Copy writing has to due with page elements on on site optimization, we will briefly go over the header tags, title tags, keyword pro mince, and bold text, but please remember on site optimization is not important as what it use to be, now 10 years ago you could analyze your site with high keyword density, and and a lot of on site page elements, and get a lot of traffic, well considerably most of the time.

Now days your placement has to do with your links, and how much value they give. Search engines are getting harder to manipulate every year, and every day as they improve there algorithms to block against things they don’t like.

Page Titles - I would say the page title is very effective, and always to put your keywords inside the page title, and from what I have been told, and experience that the page title can give you ranking with out no anchor text, most of the time this would be msn, now yahoo has a wierd way of ranking things at times, but I always try to shoot for google personally, and most of the times the others will fall into place.

In recent test I have changed titles around on pages numerous times, and gained high rankings for competitive keywords; specially on msn.

Meta Description - Well from what I have tried, and tested is that meta description don’t play an important role like it use, back 10 years ago you could repeat you keywords, and mix them, and pratically achieve high rankings, but the web is 10 times the size it was back then - give some, and take some.

Google still uses the meta description, or I should say it still spiders the text, but msn puts more value to them then what Google does.

Header Tags - H1, H2, H3 tags are highly effective, and search engines like eating them up :). Which granted H1 is always more valued then the other, and usually google always puts more weight on the h1 because most of the time it points to what the content is about.

Keyword Density - It has been said keyword density still plays important factor on msn algorithims, but I would be caution about going to high, but then again I would say it could not hurt to have a 10-15 percent density, I don’t think Google values this anymore as what they use to, which granted that could change.

From test i have achieved I notice msn places more “value” on your keyword density in the body tags rather then Google does, or yahoo.
