7 Link bait Tips
Link baiting, how fun. Don’t we all like links when it comes to search marketing. Links is what makes us rank higher in the search engine and the result of that is more traffic to our website, so we will not have traffic if we don’t have links. And of course we will have no revenue and sales, and thats what we want.
Quite honestly when focusing on link baiting I wouldn’t focus on that one article to much at first before you try to get into link baiting just mainly practice on producing quality content through a blog or something similar to that. Now don’t be lazy I see some publishers that are pretty smart, or I should say I have talked to some people that are pretty smart, but they don’t understand the whole idea of producing quality content through a blog. This is market for you you produce enough content that is high in quality and people find it educational there going to tell other people about it, it will just spread like a virus.
Anyways read on for the tips…
- Images, Always use images when your producing viral content. Images are great it makes your writers more creative and some a lot of people enjoy images. You know have you ever read a magazine and you notice how they have all them creative images beside each paragraph that sets the paragraph off just kind of brings it together and changes your mind perceptions on it, try things like this it really works.
- Hook with Social Networks, Find a way to hook your readers, and connect the dots. Get famaliar with forum that are related to your subject, also check out place like Digg, Reddit, and any other social networks. This is very highly recommended if you can learn social networking from the in to out you got it made. Learn to communicate with people in forums and etc and learn to post topics that will hook your readers.
- Controversy, I can do this all day long if I wanted to and thats create controversy I always seemed to be good at that. Try to create controversy who cares whether its negative or positive just create it one way or another don’t try to direct it towards your way to much direct it in a circle that will be about a certain topic, but keep the people coming into your website.
- Think like your Readers, Think like your readers. When your writing link bait think of how your reader would like to see it, so in other produce something your readers will like that will hook them. Generally people like helpful educational information.
- Informational Guides, I almost forgot this one people love E-books and informational type guides they always work. (trust me this one works).
- Content, Content is not really considered a link bait piece, but its a whole lot of pieces that will produce links, just a tips.
- Videos, Videos might even help with your piece if you mix them good with your post it might help.
You know link baiting is not that tough specially when you already have a online community generated, now the harder part is getting that community on your website, but then again there is several ways to leverage a piece of bait with then social networks and get people linking to it even if you don’t have a community drive website where its getting 1000’s of views a day.
I’d have to say out of everything I mentioned above E-books and reference guides are great people love this type of stuff. Write a nice online html ebook up and put a bunch of hours into it and create something innovative people love this type of stuff, now if your having a hard time getting this e-book seen use ppc, organic search, forums, and social networks to drive traffic to it. If you fail off your first few thats fine your learning it will take hours of practice before you actually get it.
Once you get the hang of it chances are you will change your whole mind about buying links for se purposes because any good seo can target the right key terms through viral marketing and pursued people into linking to them with there desired keywords if done properly. Generally when people link to you they always use that title that your using, so when you write your link bait article up try to put your keywords into the title of course.
