Viral Marketing Campaign Tips

When approaching a viral marketing campaign there is a lot of tips to use when establishing one. Generally a viral marketing campaign can be done through viral content on your website, such as blogs, articles, and just great general viral pages. Generally viral content would be considered as something that is very educational, or something that can help people out and they will link to it. Basically the idea is to keep posting great content during your viral campaign and see exactly how many links you catch, which there is several ways to leverage your market strategy and get them linking to the pages you desire.

Step 1 Analyze, step one in create a viral campaign, now keep in mind it all depends on you and how hard you work at this. If it don’t work right away then don’t get disappointed sometimes a good viral marketing campagin can take as long as a year to get it on the ball and rolling very good or it could happen in a shorter time, you just have to keep creating viral content. When your analyzing mainly think of your readers and what they want to see from any one (such as content), write quality articles that are unique and different from other people.

Step 2 Experiment, step two experiment, and experiment see what works best! Keep posting great content and see exactly what the people like and what they don’t really care for. Try to keep your audience 90 percent enthused about all your articles or blog post. This way they will keep coming back and bookmarking your website or possibly subscribe to your rss feed.

Step 3 The Viral Tunnel, the viral tunnel, ok now your at the stages where you have been writing for a year now and posting great viral content on your blog and experimenting with numerous techniques and you got a better idea of what works and what don’t work. By this stage you have more market leverage cause you have more visitors and great content that is getting linked to, now its time to start releasing the viral worm a little bit more. Once you find the tunnel on whats working and why your audience are coming back more and more keep testing it and keep looking down this tunnel you’ll get it figured out.

Step 4 Success, Generally by this stage you have got over your pressure parts well there will always be pressure sometimes people might feel like there doing something wrong because they have been writing content for a year and no results yet, but generally if that the case its probably because your domain is fairly new and try to build some links up. As long as you keep testing on what works and what don’t work eventually your ship will come in, trail and error. You’ll figure out what works and what don’t work then before you know it you will be shooting out a link bait or viral tunnel every other day and keep visitors linking to you.

The thing is about viral campaigns is that people think they are not good for direct sales which they are wrong. Viral campaigns are great. When you have good viral blogs and you have built up a community on your website you can generally leverage people into doing things like linking to certain pages on your website (with your desired keywords), so its a excellent tool if you ask me. Which granted building one way links is great, but can be a pain, social networks and viral content can be a plus plus by every means give it a try and test like I have mentioned above.

If you have any questions feel free to ask, I’d be glad to answer them.
