What is SEO Link Baiting
Link baiting in seo is a way to capture relevant links ,just like certain bait will catch certain fish. Well when you bait with articles, blogs, or anything to that nature most of the time your going to catch relevant links if a user finds it interesting any how.
For example lets say you find this article very interesting, and it caught you attention cause you a seo type person, well what would you do with it? Ask your self that, a lot of people would bookmark it, or possible even link to it, or spread the link around, and this can create a viral market effect too.
What are some good techniques for link baiting
Technique 1 - Try to write stuff on your website that is going to grab your “audience” attention, and where they are going to spread the link over the web, or to all there friends, so therefore take your time out and write interesting things, or think of something that will create links, you know one thing that I’ve done in the pass was to go around to forums, and look for similar questions that every one has been asking, and look into it further then write about it in depth, and most of the time a lot of people will find something like this interesting.
Technique 2 - Submit lots of articles, and make sure there “quality” articles quality is what counts in the web world, I mean what was the web made for in the first place its made to educate people, and expand there knowledge, and interesting stuff will draw traffic too, but people like a resource where they can go to, and find valuable information.
Technique 3 - Make friends on the web, wish granted this might not be the strong technique available, but I tell you what this can work big time, if you have the several people talking about your product, and what you have to offer lot of the times the rest will agree with 10 people to 1, thats kind of like today I had� some guy buy several link building packages off me for his clients websites, and why it was because of people in the irc channel was recommending me, and which quite caught me off guard cause I catch most of my traffic from search engines.
Technique 4 - Create a daily e-mail newsletter for your visitors have somewhere they can sign up for a daily e-mail, or weekly whatever they prefer, and when you think you’ve put something on your website thats interesting shoot it to them, you never know they might tell all there friends about the certain education information you jut offered.
