Hours of Link Building and Promoting.

I get a lot of questions how long does it take to establish a website and profitable search engine rankings. Like Where you can live off it and make high cash flow. This all depends on the circumstances of your background such as marketing education, SEO education, confidence, motivation, and there is numerous other factors involved. I think if every one established long hours and uses good sense they will succeed in somewhat a good time frame where its profitable and keep in mind you will find your self making a lot of mistakes on the way such as branding, lack of organization, and just straight out silly mistakes.

So don’t expect to make any cash for at least 6 months, and don’t expect to make that much in your first year at all unless you have some money rolling in to invest into it, and your pretty well connected, but if your just jumping in don’t expect it to take off right off. Which granted there is a lot of variables to this, but generally an online business can take at least 1 year before you start getting returns from it.

So basically you could make more working at Mc Donalads in your first year, or even in your first 3 years (speaking of the hours put in). The thing is though all the time you put in will snowball, and I would say working around 10-12 hours constantly 7 days a week is what will make you succeed, and start making profits with then your first year. If you can’t handle that and go with out making any money for months straight then its just not for you, this is the reason why a majority (87.7 %) of business fail is because they give in, give up, and start thinking its not possible (discouragement being weak), but the fact is anything worth having in life won’t come right off the bat.

Put it this way the stuff in life thats harder to get, generally in the long run its well worth it. So say for example you start an online business and you do your own link building which of course you will have to buy links or you won’t move far unless you know social media like no other and link baits (time consuming here to). Anyways you work for 1 year making nothing, well guess what all that work will snow ball on you, then before you know it you will be making more then doctors do. Thats the power of the internet, from affiliate marketing, general marketing, sales, arbitrage marketing, and many other channels to pull cash flow through through that a 9-5 job could never offer unless your high up.

I have friends on the web that are making 400k plus a year profit (bringing this home), and most of them don’t even do anything, but they worked probably 15 hours a day straight 7 days a week for months, and few years straight before they started this type of cash. Also another thing is with link building most of the time your links won’t even count for 3 months or so, but after awhile as your domain starts to age and your links start to age they’ll start carrying more value.

I’ll tell you what I built a ton of links in a short amount of time, and was wondering what was going on. Then I got to thinking of it my domain is to new for these links to even count like they should anyways, but as my site started aging and the links got older more traffic started coming in. Which granted I had other ways of establishing my brand which was through social networks and etc. The internet is full of money, but its about patience thats they key in link building is patience, passion, positive desires, and basically everything you got.

I totally agree with your point. One thing that may seem very unrelated but helped me a lot was that I was involved in semi-professional volleyball.

The process is very similar - you build your skills for years before you master the game.

Once you do, it feels very easy.

I understood this principle when I started my online business that’s why I can work and invest in one website for a year before it will actually return the investment and then run on autopilot.

Yup, Seems like a lot of time all online business generally people are just getting an idea and learning in there first year. Before they got everything running smooth, but then again I guess thats a life long process.

But yes theres a lot of variables tot his article. Some people get lucky and become millionaires in 6 months if you know what I mean, but generally they put in work somewhere way ahead of that before either prior education or something if you know what I mean.
