Why you should learn Pay Per Click

I think a lot of people should focus into PPC along with organic search even though organic search might be more profitable to a degree, but then again pay per click can be pretty profitable. I think every organic search engine marketer should be somewhat be qualified with PPC. Learning PPC is quite simple, but time consuming and I would have to say some of the best blogs out there for PPC would be Kris Jones blog which is at http://www.pepperjamblog.com, I’ve learned some valuable things over there well a few post he wrote I was thinking this was an excellent post such as the one that led me to his interview by Search Engine Marketing Standard.

Kris could not of been no more blunt, or I should say offered so valuable of information in this one post. Take a look below at what he said. (this is him replying to the interview)

Kris: He’s made an awful lot of money doing that. But that’s his approach. My approach is more about finding something that works and replicating it and scaling it. So trademark bidding for me in the early days was one way that made a lot of money. You could do typos. You could do branding. There’s a whole number of different things.

But one other thing I’ll say is that there’s a tool called KeyCompete.com. And what it does is it scrapes Google AdWords for the keywords that any given advertiser is bidding on. So you could type in, say hypothetically, Target.com into KeyCompete and they’ll offer you the ability to download the keywords that Target is actually bidding on.

So as an affiliate marketer, the bell goes off and the lights go off in your head (laughs) and all you have to do is choose your favorite merchant, download their keywords, direct link, or build yourself some landing pages. Honestly, if you’re doing search arbitrage and you’re not making at least $25K a month profit, you’re going have to suck it up.

He could of not been any more clear then that if you check out the keycompete tool which can be used for to generate keywords from other ad words campaigns. If your affiliate marketer or someone that knows about PPC then you must know about this tool anyone thats been at it for awhile should know about it.  This tool actually scrapes other peoples keywords from there campaigns it don’t get no better then that. You can easily generate a list of keywords to use in no time, and the process would be quite simple.

There is just so much money to be made with PPC and organic search, but I think a lot of people need to have a understanding of PPC and not just organic search like I stated. It is  a lot more beneficial to know both. When you look into other areas that you haven’t been looking into you’ll find out you will learn more and it will actually create you more ideas that you can apply to your current techniques, so in other words don’t always get stuck thinking in that same pattern over, over, and over again explore other things on the web such as marketing.
