301 redirect domains to old domain
I just did a post on domains, but lets just say you bought a new domain, but have found a old domain you like and you want that domain. The best thing to do in a situation like this is to do a 301 redirect from your old domain to your new domain, or the other way around, so therefore all your links, and credit that you have put into your recent domain will go into the old domain you bought.

Please be advise that some hosting companies automatically offer 301 redirects directly from the control panel, so you don’t have to upload a .htaccess file, I know Dream Host supports this type of functionality.
