Does Code Validation Effect SEO
You know I see a lot of controversy going on about code validation on place such as mirc and etc. There is a lot of poor attitudes on there, not every one, but a lot. The thing is code validation is only important to the coder, and yes I would make sure your code validates by every means. As us being a web development company we make sure code validates, but as us being a search marketing firm at the same time we make sure that usability is effective and etc. (get my drift).
Code validation is not the world when it comes to SEO and I think a lot of rookies think that which there nothing wrong with that, but I have talked to a few clients when I consult with them and for some odd reason they think that code validation is vital part of seo not necessarily vital, but they get o caught up on onsite optimist ion and code validation. The bottom line is page optimization and etc does not work like it use to and code validation has nothing to do with search marketing at all, even Matt Cutts has stated this in his videos.
As far as page optimization goes it does not play as vital roll as what it use to back in 98. What you want to to focus on is building links, and nothing else. If you can build links and buy links you’ll be successful with the search engines, and thats all it takes. It don’t take anything else to succeed and make money on the web, so just put money into links, web directories, and viral content and thats it, nothing else, not more its not magic.
