Inbound Links
Inbound links are by far the most important aspect of seo that we know of anyways, if there is any other technique that seo have figure out it has no been mentioned, but I highly doubt that, lets be realistic here. You know I get calls almost every day, and I get ask the following below.

- What are quality links
- What does SEO stand for
- How long will it take to rank my website
- What is keyword research
- and I could go on and on.
Well let me go over a few of these more then importantly the vital stuff, because I know that a lot of people that read my blog are into seo and have an idea of linking, and anchor text. I’m going to give you some better ideas of what to look for when getting an inbound link, and how to determine the quality from my experience.
When you are getting links make sure the neighborhood has good value. Try to stay away from websites that our linking out to porn sites, pills, gambling sites, and etc. Which granted its okay if the site has outbounds to computer sites, seo sites, web design sites, and etc (as long as its relevant to your site). If you think you have been getting too many dirty of links, start getting better ones!
You know when getting inbound links its all about quality which granted low quality links help to by every means, but make sure you focus on only quality links that don’t have so many outbound links on the page. When there is 100 outbound links on a pr 6 website it does not pass much value to you.
When you get links that have 100 outbounds your only getting 1/100 of the link juice and authority from the site, but say there is only 3 outbound links, now your getting 1/3 of the pie :), so basically you get more of the pie and its more tastier. It will be more filling to your website :).
When plugging your keywords in the anchor text make sure that you mix them up, you know another thing I get asked about link building is how many links are too many. Let me start out with 10. I’m thinking to my self 10, and by that time the prospect is telling me 10 a month, I”m like wow, then I have to explain that 500 links per month is ok with natural linking and editorial links.
There is so many companies out there spending 10 of thousands of dollars every month in buying links from contextual links to high authority links that are based on a monthly price value, so how many links are too many. Well if you ask me don’t worry about it just start building links. I mean don’t get carried away and put 10k a month into pr8 links that will raise some eye brows, but you’ll get the drift and sooner or later you’ll start to feel more comfortable with building links more and more.
