I did a press release campaign and it did alright. Most directories got nuked by Google though. Article syndication used to be HUGE but a lot people abused it so Google discounted the authority of most of the article distributors. Check this out, when I removed the reciprocal links my rankings sky-rocketed.

It really is a different world out there. Link baits do work but people are beginning to see the true intent of the promoters, so I’d be careful.

I don’t trust link exhange anymore. some of them have removed links to my site after a month or two..

I’m really not fond of link exchange so much. Very few times will someone answer my request for an exchange, and then it’s on a page burried on their site.

Just thinking)) I think it is really old-fashioned style, link exchange… Lots of time and so less good links)
