SEM Pricing Models, How should you price SEO?
Pricing SEO varies from person to person. The price you should charge is the price your worth. Maybe somewhat cheaper in the beginning stages then progress into more branded prices such as when people get more famaliar with you. I’ve seen a lot of SEO companies price models at $250 dollars a month and quite honestly your not going to get much from that. A good SEO campaign could run from anywhere from $2500+ a month.
The price varies from person to person. I would say a smaller company thats probably wanting to just keep things rolling in and increase there ROI would run in the range of $2500-$10,000 a month. Now a company that would want to take it to the extremes could be looking from anywhere from $10,000-$50,000 a month now models that are price at this from 10k plus would involved a lot of consulting, social media marketing, link building, and the whole 9 yards.
The thing is you get what you pay for I had a prospect call me up the other day asking about 500 dollars a month to rank some keywords, and the keywords he was wanting to rank was not going to happen. Then he started asking me all these questions like I didn’t know what I was talking about and I found it quite amusing because I have ranked some of the most competitive keywords out there. The thing is a lot of people probably have the money that are a established company, but its the idea of getting them to come off it and proving to them that your worth it, but then again some people just don’t want to come off it and never understand why things are not getting better.
So the fact are if you want a great ROI (return on investment) your looking to at least pay our $2500+ a month if not don’t plan on getting much business from search engines that will considerably result in millions, or pass the 100k mark a year the thing is your paying for clients that will turn into life time clients. Once the clients rankings come up they can cut down there budget at least 75% percent or more. When they cut down on there budget generally there ranking will stick for some quite time and there profits will keep rolling in along with repeat clients and anyone thats in business knows the value of repeat clients.
Thats the idea imagine your client is rolling in with a 2-3 new clients per day because of the services that you offered them, and there niche requires the clients to be repeat or something that involves investing money every month. Ok, but the client your offering SEO services to put in 200k in the last year with your SEO Services, but there increasing there investment and profitability by 50 percent and they are gaining more repeat clients and expanding from your seo services now ask your self is it worth it, any one with business sense would know its well worth paying an seo 200k plus a year to increase there verticals.
