Link spamming, is when you are repeating a keywords through out your anchor text, and by doing this you can lose your trust rank with Google, I would have to say that many people get carried away about this, and try to get good rankings.
The important thing is to make sure you mix your keywords in your anchor text, and yes its okay to use your keywords, but don’t get carried away and link spam, when you lose your trust rank, or get penalized this means you lose everything, you will lose your business.
When I first started getting into seo some quite time ago, there was a few times I got a little worried about some things I did because I wasn’t thinking too much about them, and was desperate for rankings, and I feel this would be important for new ses to learn off this, so make sure when you plug your url in article, or submit to directories to mix your keywords for safe rankings.
