First Impressions and Websites
You know I was just reading a post Darren Rowse wrote called First Impressions matter on a blog, and it gave me some ideas of what to write cause I’m always talking about this to everyone. Generally first impressions on a website have a major impact on any website. Which granted design is a plus plus, and how things are organized of course. I mean think of it do you enjoy looking at stuff thats more organized such as a book, or maybe even you like working in a cleaner office space.
When you have a better design, great grammar (I am working on this one my self), and good attitude when just great all around content the user is more pursued into your website. There is several factors on how long a visitors stays and thats the thing generally when you have excellent content, and something that more hooking and appealing to the visitors the chances are it can have more of a sales effect, or the user staying.
Darren also went over Titles. Titles are very important if you ask me it helps out on link baits, and of course funneling in traffic from websites like Digg, Reddit, and Delicious. Which there is numerous social media websites. Plus when you have a great title that is eye catching the chances are someone from another blog, or search engine will visit the site. Generally people look at the title when there looking on results and listings, and then they might check out your description, but if they like the title and think its something interesting they will visit the site.
So this is some stuff you guys should really give some thought if your going to focus on social media marketing and building natural inbound links to your website. Just like I have said many times social media marketing can be a excellent source of traffic and link baits, but you need to follow through on these things and make sure its compliant with your readers all the way through, you’ll figure it out.
